Writing and project management

Website rewrite completed in two months

Extensive web writing for redesign

Highbrook has worked for Freshfields since 2017. Projects have drawn on our full gamut of services and include writing new web pages, thought leadership, strategy and bringing new voices to the site such as authors, academics and entrepreneurs on subjects such as climate change and AI.

The brief: As part of its extensive redesign, Freshfields came to us to rewrite more than 100 capabilities, location and careers pages in a new tone of voice. Completion was required within two months.

The solution: Highbrook convened a team of writers and editors, managed by one of our senior commissioning editors. The project was managed from a centralised real-time database viewable by Highbrook and Freshfields. This allowed the client to see the status of every page, as well as gaining an overall impression of progress. Sample pages were written to establish the tone and working method, before we stepped the process up a gear to comfortably achieve the tight deadline.

Fresh voices for Freshfields

Freshfields hired us to bring new voices to big themes affecting law. It was keen to have third-party contributors, on the basis that a firm is judged by the company it keeps.

Highbrook used its network to get authors, academics and entrepreneurs involved in these forward-thinking projects. Our AI and robotics series had contributions from Dr Sue Black OBE, honorary professor of computer science at University College London; Dave Coplin, author of The Rise of the Humans; and Dr Susan Blackmore, author of The Meme Machine. Another looked at how activists, lawyers and investors are leading the fight against climate change.
